How many characters are in NTE?
Neverness to Everness launched with 18 playable Espers and adds new S-rank characters every version — 22 characters are playable today (Linko, released September 9, 2026, is the latest) and this page documents all 24, including Blackbird and Akane Rin, the two S-ranks revealed for Version 1.4 — each with a build guide that fills in on release.
Who are the upcoming NTE characters?
Linko released on September 9, 2026 with Version 1.3 Phase 2, following Zankou, who launched Phase 1 on August 19. Blackbird and Akane Rin have been officially revealed through drip marketing and open Version 1.4. Their banner dates are not announced; we expect Blackbird from September 30, 2026 and Akane Rin from October 20. We add every newly announced character here with a build guide as soon as their kit is known.
How do you get new characters in NTE?
S-rank characters arrive through limited-time gacha banners, while several A-ranks like Aurelia can be earned free through events and login campaigns. Check the current banners page for who is available right now.
