NTE Arcs — FAQ
What are Arcs in NTE?
Arcs are the weapons equipped by characters in Neverness to Everness. Each Arc has a type (Plasma, Solid, Gas, Liquid, Synthesis) and a rarity (S-rank, A-rank, B-rank) that determines its power and passive effect.
How many Arcs are in Neverness to Everness?
There are 44 Arcs documented at launch — 23 S-rank, 16 A-rank and 5 B-rank. New signature Arcs arrive with each character banner.
What is the best Arc type in NTE?
The best Arc depends on your character. Each character benefits from a specific Arc type that matches their kit — check the character build page to see their recommended signature and F2P alternatives.
Should I pull for a signature Arc or a new character?
A new character usually adds more to your account than a signature Arc. Pull the Arc only for a main DPS you play constantly — signature Arcs typically add 20-30% damage over a well-chosen A-rank alternative.
Can characters use any Arc?
A character can equip any Arc of the matching weapon category, but the passive only shines when the Arc stats line up with their scaling. An off-type S-rank is often worse than the right A-rank.
