Raising a character's Bond level in Neverness to Everness (NTE) means giving them gifts they like. Bond runs from Lv.1 to Lv.10 and needs 56,000 Affection in total. Each liked gift grants a fixed 50, 100, 200 or 400 Affection and is bought with Fons from shops around Hethereau. Cheap gifts cost the fewest Fons but need hundreds of feeds; a 400-Affection gift finishes in 140. Reaching Lv.10 pays out 80 Annulith and 160,000 Beetle Coins per character, plus that character's titles and cosmetics. How Bond Works in NTE

Find what they like
Every character has a personal list of liked gifts. An item that grants 100 Affection for one character may grant nothing for another, so buy against the character you are raising.

Buy it with Fons
Liked gifts are sold for Fons in Hethereau’s shops and vending machines — florists, electronics stores, gift shops and convenience stores. Stock is unlimited, so cost is the only constraint.

Give until Lv.10
Bond runs from Lv.1 to Lv.10 and needs 56,000 Affection in total. Cheap gifts cost the fewest Fons but take hundreds of feeds; expensive gifts finish in far fewer.

NTE Bond Level Rewards
Every Bond level pays out currency and upgrade materials, and the amounts are the same for every character in the game. Most levels also grant something personal to that character — the four Friendship titles, a sticker, an avatar, a name frame, a business card, and for a few of them an outfit. How much Affection does Bond Lv.10 need in NTE?
Taking a character from Bond Lv.1 to Bond Lv.10 in Neverness to Everness costs 56,000 Affection in total. The requirement per level rises steadily: 500 Affection for Lv.2, 1,000 more for Lv.3, and 16,000 more for the final step from Lv.9 to Lv.10.
What are Bond gifts in NTE?
Bond gifts are items you give a character to raise their Affection, which in turn raises their Bond level. They are ordinary shop items — bouquets, furniture, figurines, snacks and drinks — bought with Fons. Each character likes a different set, and a liked gift grants a fixed amount of Affection: 50, 100, 200 or 400 depending on the item tier.
What is the cheapest way to max Bond in NTE?
Buy the lowest-Affection gift the character likes and repeat it. Cheap food and drink items usually cost the fewest Fons per Affection point, so the total bill to reach Bond Lv.10 is the smallest — at the cost of several hundred separate gifts. Expensive 400-Affection gifts finish in 140 feeds but cost several times more overall.
Where do you buy Bond gifts in NTE?
Gifts are sold in Hethereau’s shops, split by type: Hillside Blooms for bouquets and vases, Mr. Brown for electronics and ornaments, Oops! Chest for decorative paintings, Moby-Dick Bookstore for posters, and convenience stores and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Most chains have a branch in Bridge Crossings, Illusion Town, Miguel District and New Herland District.
Do all characters like the same gifts in NTE?
No. Each character has their own list of liked gifts, and the Affection an item grants is specific to that character. Shinku and Fadia both like Grilled Corn at 50 Affection, but Nanally’s cheapest option is Cool-lala Spicy Snack at 100 Affection — giving the wrong character an item they do not like wastes the Fons.
Is it worth maxing Bond in NTE?
Bond levels are a progression track separate from combat power, so they are not a prerequisite for clearing content. Raise Bond on characters you actually play, and use the cheapest liked gift rather than the fastest one unless you are short on time rather than Fons.
What are the Bond level rewards in NTE?
Every Bond level pays out currency and upgrade materials plus a character-specific cosmetic. Taking one character from Bond Lv.1 to Lv.10 grants 80 Annulith in total, handed out across the ten levels. Raising every character in your roster is therefore a meaningful source of pull currency alongside the 160,000 Beetle Coins the same track pays out.
How many gifts does it take to reach Bond Lv.10?
It depends on the tier you feed: 1,120 gifts at 50 Affection each, 560 at 100, 280 at 200, or 140 at 400. All four routes deliver the same 56,000 Affection — only the Fons cost and the time spent differ.
What is Fons in NTE?
Fons is Neverness to Everness’ everyday shop currency, used to buy food, furniture, decorations and Bond gifts. It is earned from world activities, side content and daily play, and is separate from Beetle Coins, which pay for character ascension and ability upgrades.
Can you give a character gifts they do not like?
An item outside a character’s liked list grants little or no Affection, so it is effectively wasted Fons. Check the character’s own gift list before buying in bulk — the tables on this page list the best-value liked item at each Affection tier.
Which NTE character is cheapest to max Bond?
The cheapest route depends on the character’s liked list, since the Fons-per-Affection ratio of their lowest tier decides the total. The table on this page is sorted by that total, so the character at the top is the cheapest to take to Bond Lv.10 in the current version.
