View the Interactive Tier ListLast updated: April 11, 2026 · Version 1.0 theoretical ranking · Will be updated at launch on April 29
Neverness to Everness (NTE) is an open-world action gacha developed by Hotta Studio (Perfect World Games), releasing globally on April 29, 2026. You can learn more on the official Neverness to Everness website. This tier list ranks every confirmed character based on kit analysis — not in-game data, because the game isn't out yet. Everything here is theoretical. Some placements will shift once we can actually test damage numbers, team synergies, and boss mechanics live.
One thing before we start: pull the characters you like first. A character you understand and enjoy will always outperform a meta pick you're forcing yourself to play. This tier list exists to help you make informed decisions, not to tell you who you're allowed to pull.

NTE Tier List (Version 1.0, April 2026) — T0: Daffodill, Nanally (Limited) · T0.5: Baicang, Adler, Jiuyuan, Lacrimosa · T1: Fadia, Hotori, Chiz · T2: Sakiri, Haniel, Edgar, Zero, Mint
T0 : Meta-Defining Characters
These are the strongest characters in NTE at launch based on kit analysis. If you're optimizing your account, T0 is where to start.
T0 Daffodill

Daffodill is the strongest permanent character in NTE at launch, and it's not particularly close. Her kit is built around reliable Break damage — she tears through boss stagger bars faster than anyone else while also putting out serious AoE damage on mobs.
Why she's T0
- +Unmatched Break damage — highest stagger output in the confirmed roster
- +Finale ultimate deals AoE Chaos DMG and applies Insight, stacking up to 3 times
- +R2 Sunlight and Sanctuary reduces Chaos RES by 20% when enemies enter Break — a team-wide multiplier
- +Resonance stacks build through team Support Skills — rewards coordinated play
- +Works in every content type: bossing, mobbing, no exceptions
She's also one of the best characters to build a team around — her Break windows benefit every DPS on the team, not just herself.
Verdict: The safest pull at launch. Permanent banner, no time pressure, strong now and scales well into the future.
T0 NanallyLIMITED

Nanally is the first limited S-rank in NTE. Her kit revolves around follow-up attacks — dealing damage off-field while your active character attacks. The moment Ichi-daime's Authority state activates, the rest of the kit falls into place naturally.
Why she's T0
- +Colucci Ultimate Technique summons Underboss who launches a follow-up strike on every single one of Nanally's attacks
- +Fair Duel passive fires an additional follow-up dealing 60% ATK every time a teammate deals Esper Cycle DMG during Authority state
- +Strong in both single-target boss content and AoE mob clearing
- +Expected to form the dominant team core alongside Daffodill at launch
- +R2 Colucci Secrets - Part 2 adds a flat 10% damage increase across her entire kit
The key consideration: she's limited. Once her banner ends, she won't return.
Verdict: Best main DPS at launch. Pull if you have the resources — limited windows don't come back.
T0.5 : Excellent Characters
One step below T0, but only barely. These characters are strong in almost every situation. The gap between T0 and T0.5 is smaller than the label suggests.
T0.5 Baicang

Baicang is a boss killer, and he's exceptional at it. His single-target DPS output is among the highest in the game when locked onto a boss.
- +Among the highest raw single-target DPS in the confirmed roster
- +Heavy burst windows with great bossing potential
- +Naturally high damage ceiling for skilled players
- −High skill ceiling — rewards precision, punishes mistakes
- −Struggles in mob content — not the right tool for wave clearing
Verdict: Excellent for boss content. Best suited for players who enjoy technical, high-skill gameplay.
T0.5 Adler

Adler is the most surprising character on this list. He's an A-rank — technically lower rarity — but his utility kit outperforms most S-ranks in team value.
- +Evil's Bane shields the entire team with Blessing while simultaneously applying DoT Incantation DMG
- +Temperance passive randomly applies -20% ATK, -10% Esper RES, or +10% Break Efficiency on Scorch
- +R2 Enlightened Guardian boosts team Incantation DMG by 10% while Blessing is active
- +Works in bossing and mobbing — no content where he's useless
- −Karma stacks require consistent Deliverance and Liberation usage to maximize Evil's Bane
Verdict: One of the best A-ranks in the game. Universal team slot, especially valuable for F2P players.
T0.5 Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan is the "full package" pick — damage and sustain in a single slot, ranged playstyle, fits almost any team.
- +Combines damage output and healing in one character slot
- +Ranged playstyle — easier to manage in complex fights
- +Fits into almost any team composition without specific synergy requirements
- −Not the best DPS — pure damage dealers outpace her
- −Not the best healer — dedicated healers outperform her in survival-heavy content
Verdict: Strong, flexible, consistent. The safe pull for players who want a reliable all-rounder.
T0.5 Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa is a sustained damage dealer who excels at bossing with no major weaknesses — she just falls slightly short of T0 peak numbers.
- +Reliable sustained and burst single-target damage output
- +Competent in mob content — not purely a single-target specialist
- +Consistent boss killer across all content stages
- −Doesn't reach the absolute peak DPS numbers of Daffodill or Nanally in optimized content
Verdict: Reliable boss DPS with no bad matchups. Strong pull, especially if T0 options aren't available.
T1 : Solid Characters
Good characters with real strengths, but they come with conditions — a high skill ceiling, a specific playstyle, or a support role that doesn't fit every team.
T1 Fadia

Fadia is the go-to dedicated healer at launch — consistent, reliable, and team-agnostic.
- +Reliable, consistent healing output in all content types
- +Solid support utility for any team composition
- +Will remain a dependable healing option long-term
- −Straightforward kit — doesn't bring the layered utility of Adler
- −Minimal personal damage contribution
Verdict: Good dedicated healer. Pick her if your team needs reliable sustain without complexity.
T1 Hotori

Hotori is one of the most uncertain placements on this list — strong on paper, but entirely untested.
- +Strong theoretical synergy with Cosmos team compositions
- +Resonance mechanics look genuinely promising on paper
- −No hands-on data — completely unknown real performance
- −Could easily push to T0.5 or drop lower depending on live testing
Verdict: Potentially underranked. Wait for post-launch testing before pulling specifically for her.
T1 Chiz

Chiz is the highest-skill character on this list — her rhythm mechanics either click completely or miss entirely.
- +Exceptional damage output when rhythm mechanics are executed correctly
- +High ceiling for players who invest time into mastering the rotation
- +Rewards skill investment more than almost any other character
- −Rhythm mechanics won't click for everyone — subpar for casual players who miss timing
- −Output is entirely dependent on player execution — inconsistent in practice
Verdict: High-skill, high-reward. Best for players who enjoy mastering mechanics. Not recommended for casual play.
T2 : Viable Characters
T2 doesn't mean skip. It means these characters have real limitations that become more apparent as content gets harder. They all work early — the gap widens at endgame.
T2 Sakiri

Sakiri is the crowd-control specialist of the roster — exceptional at mob content, limited against bosses.
- +Strong AoE pull and crowd control via Devour Whole and Eating Mode
- +Feast of Gluttony immobilizes non-boss enemies
- +Easy to play — accessible for new players
- +Decent team ATK buff after Feast of Gluttony
- −Kit loses significant value against bosses — effects don't apply to powerful enemies
- −Lacks single-target damage for boss content
T2 Haniel

Haniel is a pure buffer whose value depends entirely on keeping Hootie alive and active.
- +Hootie provides persistent team ATK bonuses based on Haniel's Base ATK
- +It's Friendship! drains up to 20% of enemy initial ATK and redistributes it to teammates
- +R2 Sequel boosts team Crit DMG by 12% during Paranormal Ace state
- −Highly susceptible to interruption during combat
- −Pure buffer profile with limited personal damage output
T2 Edgar

Edgar is a healer-DPS hybrid whose main weakness is immobility — Wild Current forces him to stand still.
- +Wild Current channels continuous healing to the lowest-HP ally while dealing Cosmos DMG
- +Finnegan's Wake heals the active character over a 10s domain
- +Keys of Truth extend ultimate duration — rewarding active rotation
- −Wild Current requires Edgar to stand still while channeling — heavily limits mobility
- −Domain-based healing requires positioning management in every fight
T2 Zero

Zero (the Protagonist) is the most accessible character in the game — easy to use, reliable in standard content, but limited at endgame.
- +Divide by Zero deals multiple instances of AoE Cosmos DMG — strong burst ultimate
- +Anomaly Perception passively restores team HP on Ultimate Energy gain
- +Easy to play, good energy generation, reliable for standard content
- −Doesn't scale into late-game content the way T0 characters do
- −Bonus damage is conditional on enemies being lower level than Zero
T2 Mint

Mint has one of the most entertaining ultimates in the game, but her raw damage can't keep up with the top tier.
- +Multi-phase ultimate chain is fun and engaging to play
- +Bingo! We're Done Here! grants +20% DEF and +30% interruption resistance
- +Elite Member deals 15% increased damage to targets below 40% HP
- −Lower raw damage output compared to other DPS options
- −Ultimate sequence is her main damage window — dependent on cooldown availability
Hathor & Skia : Outside the Main Ranking
These two characters aren't placed in the T0–T2 system because we don't have enough Version 1.0 data to rank them with confidence.

FAQ
Who is the best character in NTE at launch?
Daffodill and Nanally. Daffodill is the safest permanent pull, with unmatched Break damage, no real weaknesses, works in every content type. Nanally is the stronger main DPS with her follow-up attack kit, but she's limited. If you can only pull one, Daffodill is the safer long-term investment.
Is Nanally worth pulling in NTE?
Yes, if you're planning to invest in the game. She's the best main DPS at launch and her follow-up mechanics are expected to stay relevant long-term. The limited status is the key factor — this is the only window to get her. If you're unsure about committing resources, Daffodill is the safer permanent alternative.
What is the best team in Neverness to Everness?
Version 1.0, the strongest theoretical core pairs Nanally and Daffodill — Daffodill's Break windows create damage opportunities that Nanally's follow-up attacks exploit efficiently. Add Adler for shielding and team DMG buffs, then a healer like Fadia for sustain.
Will this NTE tier list change after launch?
Yes. This ranking is based entirely on Version 1.0 kit analysis. Real damage numbers, team synergies, and boss mechanics will shift some placements. This page will be updated on April 29, 2026.
Should I pull for meta or for fun in NTE?
For fun, always. Meta changes with patches and new character releases. A character you understand and enjoy playing will outperform a meta pick you're forcing yourself to use. Use this tier list to avoid obvious traps — not to dictate your entire roster.
This tier list will be updated on launch day — April 29, 2026 — and again once community testing produces real damage data.
