NTE Launch Preparation Guide — Neverness to Everness pre-registration banner for global launch April 29, 2026

Last updated: April 13, 2026 · Based on official NTE Version 1.0 information

The game drops on April 29. If you want to start in the best possible position, there are a few things to take care of before that date — and some of them have hard deadlines you cannot miss.

Free Pulls from Pre-Registration Milestones

Pre-registration rewards unlock progressively as the community hits milestones. Here is where things stand and what you can expect.

NTE pre-registration milestone rewards — 30 million already reached, granting a free Haniel.

MilestoneReward
15 million30,000 beetle coins — main account currency for weapon upgrades
20 million20 elite hunter guides — direct character XP for faster early leveling
25 millionFabricated dice — standard banner pulls (permanent pool)
30 million ✓Haniel for free — A-rank support, deploys Hootie speaker for ATK bonus
35 millionFabricated dice — standard banner pulls (permanent pool)

Between the fabricated dice across all milestones, you are looking at roughly 20 free pulls in total before you even log in. Pre-registration is still open at the official NTE website.

The Resident Guide Web Event Has a Hard Deadline

NTE Resident Guide web event portal — create a resident ID card and claim rewards before the April 28 deadline
!

This one is critical. The Resident Guide portal closes on April 28th at 10:00 AM UTC+8 — the day before launch. If you miss it, the rewards expire permanently with no way to recover them.

The pool has 10 items and you can only claim six, so you need to choose carefully.

What to pick — mandatory

The Forgotten weapon and fabricated dice are considered mandatory. The Forgotten is a free A-rank weapon that gives a 20% attack bonus when your HP is above 50%. Equipping it on Zero on day one will noticeably speed up early combat. The fabricated dice stack toward the 50-pull discount that rewards a free S-rank character selector.

Beetle coins + hunter guides — combat focus

If your goal is to push through day one content quickly, the Chinese community recommends picking both stacks of beetle coins (12,000 total) and both stacks of senior hunter guides. Beetle coins are used for weapon upgrades and general account development. Hunter guides give direct character XP.

Fawn stacks instead — cosmetics focus

Fawns are a separate currency with a weekly earn cap, used for the housing system and cosmetics. Cosmetics can cost well over a million fawns, so getting a head start matters. If that side of the game interests you, swap the hunter guides for fawn stacks.

What to avoid completely

The colorist dye. Everyone agrees on this. Do not pick it.

You can access the Resident Guide web event directly at the official event page. Remember the deadline: April 28th at 10:00 AM UTC+8.

The Web Event Is Bugging Out for Some Players

If you hit a network error when trying to claim your rewards, you are not alone. The fix depends on your setup.

Workarounds

  • On iPhone: go to Wi-Fi settings and turn off "Hide IP address" to disable Private Relay.
  • Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
  • Try Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS.
  • Use a VPN.

The bug is confirmed by Hotta Studio. The workarounds above are working for most players.

The April 18th Stream Is Worth Watching Before You Spend Anything

There is a launch preview stream on April 18th at 18:00 UTC. It will show the final state of the game including mechanics added after beta feedback — parrying, dodge counters, and the stagger system — and confirm the monetization structure. If you are on the fence about spending on launch banners, this stream is the right time to make that call.

PC Optimization

NTE runs on Unreal Engine 5 with DLSS 4 and global illumination. If you want to squeeze out better performance on PC, you can use Nvidia Profile Inspector to force DLSS 4.5 using preset B, or enable smooth motion and frame generation directly through your driver settings.

Sim Racing Wheel Support Is Not Ready Yet

If you planned to play the driving sections with a racing wheel, hold off on expecting a great experience at launch. The closed beta did not include native direct input support for wheels — it fell back on controller emulation, which caused large dead zones and poor steering curves. Submit feedback to Hotta Studio when the game launches so they have concrete player demand to act on.
