   Lucent Tides runs August 19, 17:00 through September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8). Either currency opens a box, and Hotta has not published a fixed price for any individual box beyond stating that cost rises the more you open.

   Decide how far up the ladder to go

   Because cost escalates per box, opening one or two is a different spend than clearing all 15. The patch notes list this box as the only published source for the Tide, so a partial run is a gamble on where in the pool it sits rather than a cheaper route to it.

   Know what is in the pool

   The full list is Nanally's "Sunny Surf" outfit, Mint's "Saltwater Taffy" outfit, Esper Zero's "Cloudless Summer" outfit, the "Endless Summer" avatar frame, Fabricated Dice, a Handwritten Letter, and an Anomaly Pilgrimage Material Selection Box, on top of the Tide itself. The official text does not say whether early boxes weight toward materials over the named cosmetics, so no box order can be promised here.

   Clear all 15 for the full pool

   Opening every box unlocks everything in the pool, per the official text. It does not state whether an item can be pulled twice before the pool is exhausted, so treat duplicate protection as unconfirmed.

   Summon the Tide once it is yours

   The official text notes the Tide can only be summoned in ocean and lake areas, not on land.

• Budget for the full 15 boxes if the Tide specifically is the goal. A partial run only carries whatever odds a partial run gets, since the official text ties the guaranteed full pool to clearing all 15.
• Shipwreck Salvage opens on August 28 and is played on the water. Nothing published says it hands out the Tide, so if that event is on your list, this box is the only announced way to be ready for it.
