Version 1.3 Release Date
Version 1.3 goes live on August 19, 2026, after maintenance, on the UTC+8 schedule the game runs on.
No maintenance window has been published. Hotta Studio gave the date but no start time and no expected duration, and no per-region variation has been announced. Until that notice goes up, nobody can tell you what hour the servers come back. Treat any specific time you see elsewhere as a guess.

Zankou — Phase 1, August 19
Zankou is an S-Rank Incantation character and the first villain in the game to become playable. She belongs to the Scarlet Letter, and she is Daffodill's younger sister.
Her signature Arc is Ravenous Blade, an S-Rank Solid Arc. Pulling Zankou also grants her Red Nightshade story outfit at no extra cost.
Her combat role has not been confirmed. The program showed her kit in motion — a Reality and Illusion stance swap, with Vile Ash stacks on her ultimates — but no official role or Arc slot has been published. We will fill in her build guide once the numbers are in the game rather than guessing now.

Linko — Phase 2, September 9
Linko is an S-Rank Anima character from ETD-6, the Bureau of Anomaly Control. She fights alongside Xiaozhen, an anomaly partner that takes the form of a TV-headed backpack ghost.
Her signature Arc is Voice of the Voyager, an S-Rank Plasma Arc. Its effects were not revealed during the program.
Her role is also unconfirmed. A Modulation and Synced Strikes system has been shown, building into an Oversync ultimate that opens a Resonance Field, but that footage comes from the Co-Ex Test trailer rather than this program. Treat it as provisional until 1.3 Phase 2 is live.
Story and New Areas

The new chapter, Rising from the Moonlit Fog, picks the main story back up after Version 1.1 and puts Eibon and the ETD against the Scarlet Letter.
Two areas open with it. Fogden is a location anomaly tied to the chapter, and Duskmoor expands the city to the north-west with new highways and a beach.
Hunter's Crucible adds challenge stages for Mammon and Morphix, and a new Hethereau Hobby called Brick By Brick brings construction challenges with forklifts and dump trucks.

The Tide is not a free unlock. The game's first water vehicle comes from the Mystery Box gacha, which several early write-ups have glossed over.
The Sirocco dune buggy is bought with Fons, and the Yesteryear, a two-person bicycle, arrives in Phase 2.
